WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO
INTERN WITH GOAT

Each summer, we partner with like-minded organizations and offers to take hundreds of middle and high school students from around the upstate on outdoor adventures! For GOAT to serve these students, we hire college-aged leaders to come alongside our staff and guide trips!

Although we love the outdoors over the years, we've learned that less can be more. The trips we offer during the summer include mountain biking, backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, and paddleboarding! One of the things that makes GOAT a unique outdoor experience for potential guides is that applicants do not have to be experts on all things outdoors. The desire to count your ounces in your backpack is not an essential requirement here. We equip and train every guide who leads our trips to become proficient in the skills that make our summer program possible! From Wilderness First Aid to shredding on a mountain bike.

The most impart thing for potential GOAT Summer Guides is a heart for Christ and a desire to see students reach their full potential through their God-given identity.

Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you decide to apply, we'll be looking forward to looking things over and getting back to you!

Can't wait to see you out there!
